That's why it's never a good idea to get excited about any fight until it's official.

It would probably still sell a bundle but it might be enough to kill these precarious negotiations for good.

Sorry I got a little excited. I place more blame on May's side too but I would be willing to forgive all if they win and fought next. That's what I meant to say. I think it's embarrassing for the sport at this point them taking other fights. I wish they felt that way too.

You are kidding right? Maynever " your next Pacquiao " then NOTHING

Yes Maynever is older. He has also been in far less wars and is a defensive genius ( was ) after theMaidana fight I doubt he can cut the mustard.

This fight should break 3 million PPV buys. Especially if Pacman and Mayweather look dominant in their upcoming bouts (which they both should.)

Even if they are considered past their primes, they're both universally still recognized as top 5 P4P fighters and clearly the 2 best of the era. Aside from Pacman getting KO'd against JMM, the guy hasn't really lost a bout for almost 10 years. He beat up on Bradley twice who is considered a top tier boxer in his own right.

I really hope this fight happens, it's better late than never.

Barerra and Morales are ATGs, Corrales and Castillo a level below those guys, maybe 2. Those 2 wins trump any of Floyds for sure. Not that I'm pro Pac, im definitely not. Don't care for either him or Floyd, but Floyd's 0 is so manipulated and resume so BS its not even funny. If Floyd were fighting at this stage in the 90s he'd have already retired by now, too many guys like Pernell, Oscar, Mosley, maybe even Tito, Quartey, even a prime vargas would give this older Mayweather problems and guarentee a couple of them would give him losses. Floyd's been kicking around leftovers and tomatoe cans the last half of his career.

Both past it but Pac is more past it. Both messed up for not taking it earlier. It's unforgivable.

Co-sign. An absolute tragedy this fight never happened during their primes when it was right there in front of each other. I don't even really care that much to see them face off now, because there will always be the question, "who'd win prime for prime?" Pac was just destroying bigger guys, walking through them. Now, he's been smashed and definitely no where near where he once was. Floyd is slowing down too but his mentality hasn't changed, Pac'd did from getting KOd.

Leonard vs Hearns 3 on the undercard
    along with
    Tyson vs Douglas 2
not too late for those either apparently
