    Round 1

Byrne comes charging in with jabs and chopping right hands. Holmes moves back and drifts left, quickly dodging a right hand to the body by sidestepping and bending over. Good defensive movements by Holmes as Byrne comes chopping in again. All the punching is being done by Byrne. Quick exchange, slapping together and pulling apart just as fast. Byrne keeps stalking, throwing a high jab and a couple of uppercuts to the ribs as he jumps in on Holmes. Byrne bangs out a few wide hooks up top, partially blocked but pushing Holmes toward the ropes. Holmes lunges in with a jab and they have a tight fencing exchange at close quarters.

    10-9 Byrne

If he loses, you can cut me a cheque :D

Him and Saunders to win returns a suprisingly solid amount.

:conf Hall is very up for this, he's said publicly that it's "Last chance saloon" for him.

No I think you are good with Webb , Small cannot hold a punch too well and doesnt move his head like he used to.

    Webb in 8.

Slick and white Webb will outwork Hall who is past his best I reckon.
He lost to a random Bulgarian last year which doesn't bode well.

    Round 2

Byrne dives in with his right, and Holmes catches him with one. Holmes is tight and coiled on the outside, tiptoeing to his left and making his way inside. Jab and big windmilling overhand right by Holmes on the way in, landing even as Byrne counters with a straighter and lower-aimed one. They turn in the center of the ring, watching each other. Byrne is using more movement, jerking his arms and head around. Holmes is calmer on the outside, just bobbing a bit without all that oscillation. Just his feet are moving really, and never more than an inch. Byrne walks onto a few jabs, trying to duck inside. Counter right by Holmes.

    10-9 Holmes

    19-19

    Thank god.

The bet works out that I get a return of half of what I put on. So I've pretty much bet the house.

    Hall, not Small. :good

Anthony Small is actually a common opponent. Webb beat him by MD, and Hall lost by TKO8.

    Round 3

Byrne follows Holmes across the ring, unhurried. A few chipping jabs by Byrne, countered nicely by straight rights as Holmes lays back. Byrne steps in and lands a flush hook, but Holmes always forces an exchange when Byrne lands something and always gets the last punch in. (and better punches overall). Holmes lands a jab, ducks a right, and comes up firing his own right - square on the chin. They trade right hands, Holmes' whistling from down at his ribs and Byrne's traveling higher. Holmes still getting the better of the exchanges. Byrne is getting his head rocked back and his footing knocked askew as they hook together.

    29-28 Holmes
