How much do they really weigh in if they are to weigh 6-8 hours before fight night.

We know that most middleweight contenders today weigh 173-176 lbs 2 hours before the fight. That is exactly 24 hours after they weigh in 160 lbs

how about those that weigh 160 lbs at 12 noon and enter the ring 8 hours later? take the case in robinson's era? I bet they enter the ring a few pounds less than the normal weights today of 173-176 lbs

well you can drop a few pounds and safetly put it back on and still fight well...however....i would say no more then 5 pounds. If you try to suna off 15 pounds and then pump it all back into you in 8 hours you will be ****ing dead and easy to talk out....and really you can tell by how much smaller the fighters of the past where that they where definitly not putting on as much weight as they can now

I prefer same day weigh-ins to the maxi-pad...... It really tells the story as to who is a natural and who is weight-drained... Basically, same day weigh-ins gives the fighters LESS time to rehydrate.... BUT! If you are a natural at the contracted weight, you'll only gain 4 to 7 pounds from day to night by eating breakfast, lunch and some evening snack prior to the opening bell.....

This **** weighing 36 to 48 hrs prior to fight time is bull****.... The weigh-in should be within 12 to 18 hrs max....... WORD!

McFarland-Gibbons. At 3 PM both weighed under 147 pounds. At ringside, around 10 PM - McFarland 152, Gibbons 153.
