I agree, and also think they should get rid of the junior and super weight classes.

I have mixed feelings about same-day weighins.

Eliminating them would certainly favor fighters like Rigo, Floyd, Zab, Pac, Martinez, GGG, and other fighters who are smaller for their weight class and do a lot less hydrating.

but it'd make a weight class more legit.when i was in grammer school at some time in oct we had to weigh in for a football game same day.

Dont see whats wrong with the weigh ins, some people would change divisons and then it would just get ****, Mayweather would have no real threat because he'd be fighting small

All the cruiserweights would become heavyweights then that division will just be ****ed

you just stated without knowing it is for floyd to have a real threat they must be bigger.cruisers would still be cruisers acs.everyone would just truly have to be the best in their division.

One title at each weight would change boxing more.

same day weigh ins dont happen to protect the fighters.
but what goes on now is a farcical streetching of the rules.

it would make the fight game better, fighter would be forced to manage their weight and conditioning better between fights. This could lead to more competitive fights.
