    Barney Ross was considered the best LW since the great Benny Leonard...
    Sammy Mandell was a great boxer, but Barney Ross was much sturdier with a truly iron chin. Ross by decision...

    Ross did have iron in his jaw but power wouldnt factor into this fight either way, the jabbing matchup here is more important, Mandell had a seriously great jab along with movement and boxing skills, and how Ross deals with that is an important factor
