War scorpion I don't know what people were thinking picking Karl he has no defence I picked up on that instantly from his last fight, he has a great engine but no ability to slip or move around.

 

Props to Shields and company for stopping the fight. Karl took an absolute pasting in the last round and didn't seem particularly responsive during the break.

Ramirez looked really good, and Karl fought well enough to ensure that he'll get another televised date in spite of suffering his first loss.

 

I'm starting off bad in Kirk's league..

 

He's not gunna make it Kirk his a ko waiting to happen unless he can improve his defense dramatically.

 

If I were close to Karl I'd advise him to retire... He's tough, probably too tough for his own good... But too basic and stiff for that toughness to be of any benefit to him.

Great fight, credit to both men they made it entertaining, if Karl can improve his defence big time he has the engine and heart to be a good fighter. Ramirez impressed me picked his shots well and used awesome defence but needs to increase his output too next time definitely seemed to fade in most rounds.

 

Jim Lampley would cream his pants watching him get hit.

 

As for Ramirez... He showed a lot of holes here, Karl just wasn't good enough to exploit them. He gassed constantly.

 

Wasn't shields Adam Lopez's trainer, damn another one of his prospects stopped bad few weeks for Ronnie.

If the Ugas vs Levan fight is as good as the last fight we're in for a treat lads.
