Peter was just big lumbering strong man tough but easy to hit and limited .Wilder would find him a easy target for his big shots .Baring a lucky shot Peter gets busted up and stopped.
Eddie Chambers fought Peter when he was out of shape and he still won. Just stood right in front of him and outboxed him. Same as an obese James Toney did. Peter was useless. Wilder knocks his block clean off.
Wilder is a big stiff plank that gets rocked by jabs from footballers and gets his face rearranged by pastry chefs. Peter was a crude caveman of a fighter it's true, but he had huge power and a good chin. Since Wilder has virtually no defence, I'd say Peter lands sooner or later and makes Deontay dance the Chicken Samba before laying him out cold.
If Wilder can emulate his Stiverne performance then he beats Peter. If he tries to brawl then he probably comes off second best. Pretty even fight.
Bad matchup for Wilder. Peter has an iron chin and a great punch, bad combo for Wilder, who I think would have had a good chance to ko Byrd, who was of a similar level to Peter. Guess there is a chance Wilder could stay outside and outbox him, but I don't think so. Peter was vastly more proven than Wilder on resume, so unless Wilder steps up and beats higher level guys, ill pick Peter.
