    In terms of ATG placings

    Hopkins
    Sanchez
    De La Hoya
    Holmes
    Lopez

Lopez is more skilled than most of them but his resume is just not strong enough

4.Lopez-hard to judge a guy w/ no real comp.
5.Hopkins-where would he be if he faded away after Taylor? not where he is now in history.

You people really go overboard on the 'Lopez had weak comp' tune. Who else was he supposed to fight down there?? Granted, the talent will always be thin down there based solely on genetics, the lack of fighters that size...

...but then the Dempsey's and Jeffrie's get God status for dominating an era in which the visual evidence we have on them is absolutely ****ing dog****

He was lethally superb. Ability-wise i feel he is amongst the likes of Thomas Hearns and Manny Pacquiao, maybe slightly above both. Resume-wise he's just as good as Carlos Monzon and Joe Calzaghe.
