Like this fight better TBH there is much likely chance of Hughes getting brutally KTFO.

Hughes is irrelevant , there is really no point at all in him fighting these days , the Diego fight was semi interesting because Hughes has better wrestling , and Diego slightly better stand up and a better gas tank , therefore they matched up reasonably well , Koscheck is a better version of Diego in every department apart from heart , i see a blow out if it happens , and hopefully Matt will retire

Sidenote ; id ****in love Hughes to beat him :deal

My feelings toward Matt Hughes in recent years can only be described as "vague disinterest"
My feelings toward Koscheck tend to grow more and more negative the more I see of him.
    He's pretty much a dick.

So I don't want Koscheck to win, but I don't particularly care if Hughes wins (and it'll make precisely **** all difference on the division either way)

Not particularly interested in this fight to be honest.

Good fight between good wrestlers with okay striking. Hughes is on the downside but if he was to win then he'd be right back in the mix.

Sanchez has unfinished business with Kampmann.

In the modern era im not sure id even describe Hughes as that much of an effective wrestler anymore , clearly he's a highly skilled AA , Div 1 wrestler , but the days of Hughes bull dozering in and grabbing a double are gone , fighters are much more aware of the TD and most of the division have the necessary ability to counter a poor shot or over extension with a TD of there own , even against Hughes and the likes

Hughes does not have the variety to mix up his game to make him an effective / dominant wrestler for MMA in this day and age , TBH he never really did , he was of the old school bull method , not the modern more calculated approach of striking and shooting , im not taking anything away from Matt's reign , not at all , what im saying is that he's another of the old guard who doesnt belong at the top level of the sport right now

He dug deep and produced some magical moments in MMA in some terrific fights against top fighters , and thats etched into the sports history , but for me , he's spent now , and id like to see him retire personally

Sanchez will murder Hughes standing and defend his takedowns most likely. I doubt Hughes will take this. I would actually rather see Hughes vs Condit and BJ vs Kos to be honest. Hughes will at least maybe be able to get Condit to the ground. And BJ/Kos would be an awesome scrap!
