How do you see this one panning out? Was Chavez too pre prime at SFW or would he be too big for Sanchez? Or would he just be too good? Mexico vs Mexico but who emerges on top?
Salvador Sanchez W12 Julio Cesar Chavez. I think it would be a great fight. Sanchez never fought at 130 lbs but he appeared to be a rather big featherweight. I think he'd be a little too smart for Chavez. I think Sanchez would make Chavez lead and would look to counter a pressing Chavez. The key would be if Sanchez could gain Chavez's respect. I think he would. Neither guy would be hurt and it would most likely be a competive fight with a 7-5 Edge fpr Sanchez or something similar.
Again Concur. I think Salvador's workrate would help him overcome, and his stamina.But it would probably be more like a 6-5-1 deal.
Excellent fight between two of the best fighters to ever lace them up. I could see it going either way. But it is pretty hard to pick against Chavez at this weight.
I'm opting for Sanchez tight fight on points but I think his straight punching is gonna make life difficult for Chavez and if he can reduce the output from JCC he can evade enough shots and fire back.
