He broke the rules also I think rjj did this also holding the wba hw strap for 9 months? Correct me if im wrong. We really need to address this or else this will go down hill and out of control sooner or later.:verysad
Nope, I really hate that part of these alphabets, I'm very much against that sh*t. But my point is that it's not just Floyd, it's a lot of milkcows that get to keep their belts while breaking the rules left and right.
I do agree, and pls if you knew other rules that are being broken by certain promoters/fighters you guys are welcome to post and maybe any idea to address this problem. And maybe new boxing fans might read this thread might be helpful to open their eyes not buying all the **** that are thrown by this corrupt fighters, sanctioning bodies and promoters etc.:good
And i forgot to clear things up,i will edit the post. But something is wrong, how long floyd holding the belt at 154? 3 years?that is helll alot of time ito decide which one he will keep. I thought rjj hold the hw strap the longest 9 months iirc but floyd did it more than 2 years. leaving the 154 division go stagnatnt..
How about you copy and paste the rules? You didn't because you knew people would read them and realize you're making this up. WBC 3.14 doesn't prohibit a fighter from holding belts in two different weight classes. It says a fighter has to have written sanction to do so. It says the WBC has discretion to allow a fighter to hold belts of multiple organizations or in multiple weight classes. In short, it says the opposite of what you imply it does. I'm pretty sure if I bothered to look up the WBO and WBA rules cited that I would find the same thing, but why bother? If you want to debate this, post the actual rules so people can see that they don't say what you claim they say.
WBA 4.2. If a Champion wishes to fight for the title in another division, he must first apply to the Championship Committee for a special permit to participate in a contest for another title. If permission is granted and he wins the fight, the boxer must notify the Committee within ten days, as to which title he is going to keep. Failure to do so the Association will declare his previous title VACANT. WBO A WBO Champion who wins a non-WBO Championship in weight class that is different than the weight class in which he holds his WBO Championship must decide within ten (10) days of the non-WBO Championship which title in which weight class he will retain. No WBO Champion may hold a non-WBO Championship in a weight class that is different from the weight class of his WBO Championship. I cant copy paste the wbc But heres the link check it out lol http://wbcboxing.com/wbceng/rules?id=555 3.14(A) nono:nono
