Sanders by tko, but it wouldn't be easy. Lamon Brewster was a tough guy. Sanders bliztkrieged Wlad, while Brewster took a beating for 4 rounds and was knocked down before Klitschko ran out of gas.
I'd go with Sanders, though Brewster is definitely in with a chance. Fight might end up a bit like Shavers vs Lyle though, with Sanders having early success and Brewster's toughness eventually gutting out the win. Sanders was a lot more naturally gifted than Shavers though, so provided he doesn't gas or throw something sloppy and get countered I see him stopping Brewster sooner or later, or at the least battering him to a one sided UD.
If Wlad couldn't get Brewster out of there , how would Sanders? As soon as Brewster got in on Sanders he would close the show. Sanders wouldn't be able to handle the power and didn't have the defense to avoid it. Sanders avoided Brewster after he was ordered to defend his WBO belt against him. It wasn't a duck however since he got a better deal to fight Vitali.
I'll also pick Sanders, but I think Brewster is underrated nowadays. He was an incredibly tough fighter with lots of power of his own. I think you'd see some fiery early exchanges and once Sanders realised that Brewster wasn't going anywhere, he'd fight him from the outside like he did Puritty and go for the points win.
Brewster better chin and tougher, takes Sanders punches and stop him mid rounds... Similiar to Wlad fight
Sander's and Brewster clash like Rhinos .Both knocked down at some stage .Sander's has the final word in the 9 th round
They were signed to fight and it fell apart. Not sure of the date, but Brewster said he had lots of potential bouts cancelled through the years including Sanders and Tua. Either guy was ever the beneficiary of optimal matchmaking, were they? As for the bout, it kind of depends when it happens. I sure didn't like the Brewster legs after the knee surgeries. Being upright and less mobile against this guy is bad news. But what a fan's fight it'd be---or a trilogy and neither would go 3-0.
I can see that, though if Sanders didn't bother to train or fought a stupid fight I could see Brewster taking him out mid rounds. If he approaches the fight professionally, with an eye to boxing, then I don't see what Brewster could do.
I would say prime sanders might decision brewy, but may well get koed late too. or did you mean the shot 2 shyt retired fat sanders who easily killed prime wlad in seconds? that sanders gets koed early.
I see it as very similar to the Rahman fight. Sanders starts quickly and has Brewster all over the place in the early rounds, but Brewster hangs tough and comes back to stop him. Unless Sanders gets Brewster out of there early I don't think he can win a drawn out slugfest, which is where the fight would probably go. If Sanders came out with a disciplined game plan and used movement and his superior handspeed, it's a very winnable fight by decision. However, the chances are that regardless of what plan he has, he hits and hurts Brewster early and goes for the knockout, which plays into Brewster's hands.
