Sanders vs Haye, who wins?

Sanders blasts him early. Haye is there to be hit and has a shaky chin. Sanders has fast hands and vicious power.

 

Due to the fact Sanders is dead, i'd say Haye MD

Rahman is an underrated hevyweight.

 

He is, he has a good jab & great power. Sloppy as **** & not polished though.

 

He could actually put it together pretty well at times. Those Maskaev fights I'll never understand though. Just had his number I guess

All respect to Sanders, but what he did to Wlad was lightning in a bottle. Wasn't going to happen again. I think deep down Corrie knew that, which is why he didn't rematch Wlad... didn't defend his WBO title (or fight anyone for a year for that matter)... and decided to vacate the WBO title where Sanders was ordered to fight Brewster with Wlad waiting to fight the winner, and cash in on a big showdown with Vitali. Props to him for getting some spotlight in the boxing world for a short period and making some good money in the process.

Sanders had enough speed and power to knock out ANY heavyweight in history within the first few rounds if they came in lazy and/or he caught them cold, ect... However, realistically, I would see Haye dancing around Sanders for several rounds before Corrie becomes worn out and Dave goes to work. Very dangerous fight for Haye, obviously a fight that he could be knocked out in. However, the much more likely outcome is Haye winning by Dec or late round stoppage.

People always say things like "imagine what Corrie Sanders could have been", ect... The reality of the situation is that Corrie was what he was and his talent took him as far as it could. He was a big guy who was a natural puncher with good speed and hit like a mule. He wasn't a well conditioned fighter or a great technical boxer. He didn't have good defense, durability or a granite chin.

By all accounts he was a great person outside of the ring and what happened to the man was horrible, but let's not get carried away into making him out to be something that he wasn't inside the ring. He was a very dangerous fighter in the early rounds who cashed in at the right time against a complacent Wlad who clearly wasn't prepared.

Because he got lucky and won an epic back and forth fight that could have gone either way. You should try actually watching the fight young cub.

Unlikely that Haye would survive very long in this one. Sander's was the only person to stagger Vitali K, which gives a good idea how hard he could hit!

Sander's landed fairly frequently on Vitali, and Haye's defense is way below prime Vitali's. No doubt that Sander's would have landed, and unlike Wlad he would be loading up on his punches!
