Talks are under way for a Sanders Holyfield bout in October. Maybe they'll make a new sanzabelt title. Anyway, who wins if this fight gets off?

Probably Holyfield, but Sanders can still bang, so this would be a potentially dangerous fight for Commander Vander

If Sanders shows up in shape which I doubt he will most likely Ko Holy otherwise, I go with Holy by a UD.

Holyfield UD or late TKO (dangerous fight right now if Sanders is in shape)

Well I have to steer towards Holyfield probably going down in one round but winning a split decision

    Sanders tko3 Holyfield

Is living on borrowed time. If he thought Saverese rocked him with that upper cut, then he is going to be in for a rude awakening when Sanders starts dropping those southpaw bombs on him...Holyfield has always had trouble with left handers ie the first Moorer fight and the Byrd fight.

This fight will never happen. Holyfield will fight Klitschko next.

Sanders too fast and hits too hard, if he can get into decent shape, but this is a fight Evander will not take, WHY? should he

Pitting these older comebackers together is a great thing, as it'll not only present good fights, but it'll also start to weed out some of the cluttered field of older fighters.

It looked like Holyfield was starting to really rise in competition level when he fought Oquendo, then he stepped down to fight Vinnie Maddelone, then up only slightly to fight Big Lou. Now, if this fight happens (I doubt it does, but) fighting Sanders is at least a pretty good step up from Big Lou.

I don't see this fight happening, though. But if it does, I look for Sanders to probably catch Holyfield and TKO him.

Evander has been active, Sanders has not - and at their best, Holyfield was a whole different class of fighter. Holyfield wins, and probably quite a bit more easily than many people think, too.

This fight is not necessary for Holyfield at this point he should be trying for any title fight he can get. I think that his people want him to beat Sanders to make Klitschko look bad by saying Evander beat him you didnt so fight Evander.

that's a possible marketing tactic for sure. i mean klitschko really wants to beat sanders im sure as it was the worst loss of his career.

if holyfield beats sanders and does so convincingly, then klitschko will turn his sights to evander as the holyfield hype machine will start clamouring about how he deserves a title fight since he beat the man who beat the man etc.

personally if this fight happens it'll either be a SD for evander but could go either way OR sanders catches holyfield in the first four rounds which i think is highly likely as he apparently still has some of his speed and power.

it'll be like vitali verses williams again if evander wins. vitali always wanted to fight tyson, but danny-boy ruined those plans and got destroyed by vitali. if holyfield destroys wladimir's dream of fighting sanders he'll do the same only it wont take 8 rounds. the moment wladimir warms up and feels at home, the bombs will fly and the 45 year old warrior will get ko'ed badly

It would be fun to watch, and would leave the winner in a good position to negotiate a good payday for the next fight.

If Evander makes it out of round 4, he stops Sanders...
