Did Lewis ever face anyone as big and fast as Sanders? Not
to mention the south paw stance. I think Sanders can pull off
the upset, but would get scalped in a rematch. Sanders KO 3.

Each man could stop d other quickly but if it went more than 6 , Lewis' chances r better .

Alright a prime motivated Sanders who wasnt golfing.
I mean he spent a lot of time in gyms sparring with the
likes of Tyson, among others. If he was fully dedicated
Lewis has his work cut out for him. I love how Lewis
comes out agressive against superheavies and bombs
them out early. So, if they both come out agressive
theres gonna be an early stoppage in my opinion.

...By the time he fought the Klitschko's, yeah. Had he fought them six or seven years earlier, you may have had a drastically different view of him.

But anyway, Lewis. A fast, mobile puncher like Sanders can't be written off, but Lewis has a lot of tools to hurt him with.

Mu guess is that Lewis fights cautiously, conceding the early rounds, to wait for Sanders to start losing steam. He would start coming on strong after that, and most likely finish off Sanders late.

This sounds about right. I see Lewis choosing his spots early and weathering the storm to eventually wear Sanders down. A good scrap for as long as it lasts.

Only way Lewis loses to Sanders if he came in overweight and under prepared like when he faced Rahman the first time.

A focused well conditioned Lewis would quickly knock Sanders out. Worst case scenario we would see, would be something similar to the fight Lewis had against Briggs where he was hurt early on, only to go on and KO his opponent in a dominant manner.

Sanders gets over rated based upon his performances against the Klits. His losses against Rahman and Tubbs are a truer indication of his level. He was a dangerous fringe contender he was never a top contender for the title.

Rahman had and executed a perfect fight plan for Sanders imo.

What would sparring with Mike Tyson do?, i would get in some guys like Wladamir Klitschko, Andrew Golota and John Ruiz, you would have a big jabber/ 1-2er, a hard puncher/ physical guy, along with a hugger to help combat lewis style.

    :deal Good post.

My first thought when i seen this thread is that i see it playing out similar to the Briggs fight. But if Lewis respected Sanders more than he did Briggs then he would cautiously break Sanders down from the outside and take him out around the 8th, with a shaky moment or two along the way.

I agree with this Threetime. :good

Very similar to Briggs fight, I believe Lewis loved to eat big superheavy bangers whole from the opening bell, with slugging from hell.

I could be wrong but don't you mean Corey "T REX" Sanders" and not the Corey Sanders we are talking about here.
Lewis in one he just loved this sort of fighter, I love Sanders though what he did to Wlad was unbelievable.

Sanders did not have his heart in boxing and in certain fights he did not even run because of a leg injury but let me tell you he was a dangerous guy, a big fast, hard hitting southpaw. Sanders was owned by the same promotional team as Lewis but they never fought. I thought Vlads people took Sanders too lightly. I think Lewis would know how to fight Corrie but I may put a wager on Sanders here, the odds would be largely in favor of Lennox and Sanders had speed power and a southpaw style...always a danger for Lewis who was KO'd Flat and badly 2X
