The ninth has yet another twist, with a flash balance knockdown on Cordova. He steams back bullishly to try to reclaim the round, and may have argued himself into a 9-9.

 

Should have taken a point off carmona. Wouldn't stop running, clinching and falling down wasting time.

 

Carmona was initially winning the round but was exhausted causing him to slip and got overwhelmed by Cordova.

Cordova has simply not slowed down an iota in the last round, Carmona on the other hand is shagged. He holds on, flops to the canvas and shells up to survive the round. Cordova easily takes the round. Great scrap.

**** I think I have it 5-5 with the knockdown making the difference or 6-4 to Cordova. A point either way is good to me.

 

Farcically wide scorecards but Carmona could have taken that fair enough.
