What was that stoppage? Ridiculous!

That was a terrible stoppage and I say that as a guy who just won money on Lejarraga.

The ref also gave Lejarraga all the time in the world after his 2 knock downs.

If Smith doesn't get a rematch, I hope he at least gets some decent matches out of this.

That was some blatant ish. Probably should have taken a point on the second KD.

Smith had this fight though. I think all he needed to do was go to the body a few times when he had Lejarraga hurt. He should have pushed for the stoppage a bit harder. 20/20 hindsight, of course.

 

i’ll go with mouth guard hijinks x2. Once I can see? But twice? It was so obvious why he did it, and so obvious why the ref let him get away with it.

 

Lejarraga needs a new nickname after this stoppage.
