No strong opinion. I think EM can take Saddler's punches, as long as he doesn't eat too many of them, and box his way to a decision. If we're talking prime EM that is. I wouldn't bet the house on it.

This is a tough one but i will side with Saddler by close split decision.

Saddler by stoppage for sure. His ring generalship would be too much for Erik to deal with over the stretch. Morales was tough and he could box, but sticking him in with one of the all-time great ring generals who was absolutely brutal in the ring and had so much quality, I just don't see El Terrible making it close or hearing the final bell. TKO after an exciting but relatively one-sided affair. You are pitching the ATG against the mere G here.

EM is an ATG as well. He can beat a prime Pac but he 'for sure' loses to Saddler? No.

Pep had a hard time outboxing Saddler but Morales would? Can“t see it. Neither can I see Morales winning a brawl. Saddler by late KO or very clear UD.

If Morales thought MAB was dirty i cant even imagine what he would say of Saddler who was one of the dirtiest fighters ever,Morales goes to war and it would end early if he moves he lasts longer, either way he gets knocked out by Saddler who is arguably the biggest puncher ever at featherweight.

Morales is great, not all-time great. I agree with Popkins there.

EM is not an ATG on the same level as Saddler. Saddler is a top 25 ATG IMO, EM is a top 90-100 man for me. Completely different levels of greatness.

Pac wasn't prime when Morales beat him. He was in his physical prime years, but he was not the fighter he is now. And Pac brutalized him twice afterwards, so Morales did not come out on top in that little duel anyway.

Sorry, but feather is Saddler's house. Morales was better at sbw. No chance is he beating the guy who owned Willie Pep.

ok, I guess Saddler just mercilessly and brutally slaughters Pac as well, since EM has 'no chance' lol

At featherwight, Saddler would convincingly defeat Pacquiao, yes. Saddler was one of the very greatest feathers in history, Pacman was not. Featherweight Pac was not the same fighter he is now. That is evident from his performances there. Pac at 126 was far too reliant on his physical prowess. Agapito Sanchez roughed Pac up, so imagine what Sandy ****ing Saddler would do to him!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm a Pacfan but I agree. Saddler was a monster at 126.

Awesome. I always THOUGHT Del Flanagan and Paddy DeMarco were unstoppable killing machines when they were on, who would absolutely DESTROY any fighter born after 1930. This just confirms it.

Saddler was a beast in his prime. Not someone I'd favor many against.

Morales was good and slick but nowheres near the defensive genius of willy pep. He does have the power to punish Saddler back for his mistakes however but I don't think he has enough to fight toe to toe (which his heart would force him to.)
