Was looking forward to this match, but as the round progress the match became too sloppy to capture any excitement. Nothing near exceptional between them.

Nothing exceptional? Leo punched 1k and Mares a career high too. There are probably less than a dozen fighters at the top that can do that. Name them?!?! The stamina of Santa Cruz is insane.

I have seen many matches with lots of punches thrown but they had lots of clean punches landed. Not necessarily hurting punches, but definitely scoring punches. I feel both fighters tonight showed little offensive skill to land enough clean shots to my liking.

The fight was decent, it had some of the ugliness like I thought it would but generally it was much better than I predicted.

Not FOTY or anything like that for me though but a good fight.

Great fight between top fighters, and I didn't have to pay. That's never bad.

Yeah, but who gives a **** how many punches a featherfist throws? There wasn't a lick of heat on one of them. If he had any power at all he'd have had Mares out of there four different times.

If yall think that was a great fight I question your definition of a great fight.

It was a decent fight. Too sloppy and without the drama to be considered great.

Ceja vs Ruiz stole the show.

It was a pretty good fight. Sweet science hipsters can watch Floyd vs Berto and go aroused.

To me the two earlier fights were more entertaining.

Not legendary however very good fight. But neither are prime anymore, and visibly so...

Safe to say Mares was responsible for the ugliness in initiating and aggressively holding.

Disappointed? it was pretty much like I expected it to be, but the first 2-3 rounds, that I didnt expect.

Not an exceptional fight, not a bad fight. Just a bussy fight, entertaining overall.

I think a lot of fans talked about this match for 3 years, so the expectation was very high. It was a decent bout but like others said lacked any drama.
