People are writing him off far too quickly after one loss. Even in Defeat he boxed well at times and showed great heart/chin. Be interesting to see if he goes for another title next or a rematch or maybe back to drawing board. I think LSC V Quigg at 126 makes sense.

I don't think people are writing him off, most people are saying what a great fighter Frampton is and it was a very competitive fight, forget the scorecards for a minute, it wasn't a onesided beating so LSC is not being insulted, far from it.

Oscar Valdez, Gary Russell Jr, Carl Frampton, Nickolas Walters (if he's still at 126) and Lee Selby.

I take all these guys over Santa Cruz.

I think LSC (with the reach) is more competitive against Rigo. We might now see that fight.

He'll beat Frampton in a rematch but Valdez would knock him out

Well, Rigo has to move up first, which doesn't seem that likely right now.

Close fight between 2 quality operators. Whomever won, writing off the loser is exposing your lack of brainpower.

Wait? Aren't you a skills pay the bills guy, that hates come forward face first plodders? Well why are you so salty that the counter punching guy with more skill beat the face first plodder? Doesn't that make you sound like a massive hypocrite?:think

These two are probably bottom of the top 10 in the featherweight ranking.

    Better boxers in the division.

I didnt watch the fight but saw his face afterwards and you would have never guessed he had been boxing for 12 rounds.

Santa Cruz kinda reminds me of an even less-skilled Margarito.

Haha, I'm happy Santa Cruz the COWARD lost. He ducked Rigondeaux more shamelessly than the others.

Certainly not writing off, Showed serious heart to recover from the 2nd when looked like he was gone, forced his way back in but Frampton is just a better boxer with better footwork and that did it. An utter classic though, let's see it again in Belfast
