I already suspected for long time that this is going to happen sooner or later. They ridiculously 'robbed' Machado his throne and there is no doubt they are going to do it again. And this time with Cancio. I knew WBA never really want Cancio as their champion. Even more absurd, not only Cancio who are robbed here, but also Jo-jo Diaz as well. Diaz is the the 'gold champion', which is somekind of interim or vice champion or something (note : I used to think that this title is counterpart of WBC's silver title, but it appears that two of them are not the same. The holder of WBC's silver title is a ranker, while WBA's gold title is not and has a special place above the rank). Anyway, I think Santa Cruz has been eyeing this for some time already. He never intended to fight anyone. He is happy fighting for a million dollar while his opponent got 2%. If he ducked the entire featherweight division, there is no way he would fight anyone. I doubt that he'll want to fight Cancio, let alone Loma.
