Some fighters just have other fighters numbers. LSC tried and failed. Unless he knocks out Carl he won't win. Carl would again take too many of the rounds for LSC to turn it around.
I scored it 115-113 Cruz. All depends on what you like. I went for volume (Cruz) over power (Carl). btw I'm a huge Frampton fan
That isnt how you judge a boxing match though. Effective agression - LSC was agressive but not very effective for most of the fight Ring Generalship - Frampton easily took this in most of the rounds LSC fought frampton fight Defense - Frampton won this imo but it was very close as both parried lots of shots but id say Frampton was slipping alot better Hard and Clean Punches - This is close but i would say Frampton landed more clean and hard shots. This is a big category for the judges Volume punching count for **** all in boxing unless you class it as agression but LSC wasnt effective for lage parts or land lots of clean shots. I think when you break it down like this you can se how judges may have had it wider. I scored it 115-113 but i couldnt really make a case for LSC winning, he only won a 3 rounds clearly imo, i thought it was an easy one to judge.
Nuro, that last paragraph is a load of ****e. How is a 115-113 card easy to score? You do realise to make it 114-114 and therefore a draw, it requires someone to disagree on ONE round with you?
Irony at its best. We have a potato munching spastic who can't spell calling others stupid. Couldn't make it up.
Ofcourse it make's sense, just because a fight is close score wise doesn't mean it can't be easy to score. Someone could win easily the first 5 rounds and the other fighter the next 7 rounds clearly for example, or the fighters might both win there respective rounds clearly.
i think frampton could win rematch easier if he wants to male it a less entertaining fight it shpuld ne in belfast but i think if showtime have a date they will push for LA or Brooklyn again
That's how I see it too. Although I have no problem with "entertainment" watching a master boxer put on a clinic like Carl did against Gonzalez after round 1. Expect Carl to jab a lot more in the rematch.
Did you read his post? He said the fight was easy to score, regardless of what score you got. That's truly idiotic. I can only assume he meant that no matter how you scored it, Frampton wins. But if you have a wide range of scores, it means people saw different things within rounds, thus it wasn't easy to score. Ward's fight was easy, he won every single round, Carl's fight wasn't, hence the differing scores people have.
