[yt]QvTTuTe6kKA[/yt] 4:27 Here is the facts, Roach never did say anything or wanted to check the scale again that is bull**** by Cotto fans to make Roach look more like the bad guy in this one. As soon Buffer announces Cotto is 145 Santiago immediately begins jawing at Roach. Roach started coming forward to Santiago and Santiago took a few step backwards to get help from his crew. Roach never initiated this incident. Santiago just screwed this up for his fighter. How do you talk smack to someone and back away when they come forward to you especially if he has parkinsons.
Roach has been jawing at Santiago and Cotto for months now. All of a sudden they respond on the scales and its classless? Remove head from ass then post.
Who cares, really? It's not a big deal. Tensions are really high as the fight is tomorrow, and Roach has been talking **** for how long? Now if the trainer in the winning corner starts mouthing off and cussing after the fight has ended in their favor, then that's a different story.
it was mostly to do with the 145lb limit, Freddie doubted & just wanted to make sure he made 145 legally hence was hawkeyed monitoring miguel on the scales. Miguel didnt pull a Mayweather stunt & was on weight. And Santiago was kinda "how u like that! satisfied mf!" & things just got rowdy.
Yeah Ill admit Roach talked a lot of trash but lets keep it real today, Santiago initiated and backed away like a little ***** when confronted.
exactly, its just a highly emotional event so u can excuse Santiago or Roach or there respected camps/fans.
Boxing fans are often more sensitive and emotional about trash talk than the participants themselves, who go through hours of hard work for this one event. There's all these people over on another board crying about Santiago cussing and talking ****. I doubt Freddie Roach really cares all that much that Santiago called him an *******.
