How so? Roach was the one casting insults towards Santiago, at the weigh in Santiago stood his ground, they are sick of Both Pacquiao and Roach, which is a good thing, they are clearly where they should be mentaly for this fight.

Pac Tards should be grateful that I even credit Manny enough to say this will be a good fight, easily one could make the case that Cotto dominates and destroys Manny Pacquiao.....

Proof is in the putting, when is the last time Pacquiao fought a well schooled fighter, that was healthy, and knew how to box? that would be Marquez.. and like it or not, Marquez made that fight a 1 point difference even with a Knock down, Cotto hits much harder...

and its proven unless you plan on bringing rocks in your gloves, chances are with Miguel your going to lose...

 

roach has been throwing jabs at Santiago throughout this whole pre fight period so he did deserve to get checked by Santiago... And these *******s are mororns if they think Santiago is scared of roach..

the only thing "silly" is the ammount of pre fight trash talk done by Roach.

first all the crap about the weight .. 143, 144, etc ... I mean all this talk of weight .. what are they women?

then when the fight weight gets decided on Roach talks more junk about everything from an early Pacquiao knockout to Cotto not being able to make the weight.

the pure volume of Roach's trash talk alone is simply obnoxious

 

It's a big fight for crying out loud. This sort of thing is to be expected. You look at all the past box office fights which have involved 24/7, they've all contained some forms of talking about opponents.

Mayweather and Oscar did it against one another. Mayweather again done it against Ricky. Oscar had his own go at Roach a year later. Then of course came Senior with his poems about Cockroach Roach. That is what you call trash talking.

This time round what exactly has Roach said about Cotto....

....'he doesn't seem to be the same since Margo' (He's not the only one who thinks this, in fact most experts do!)

....'His corner is green' (again, plenty of others have said the same thing. Nearly everyone on this forum will even agree with him)

....'my guy will knock him out' (Tell me, is it really uncommon for a trainer or fighter himself, to make a prediction like this?)

Fact is, Roach's comments have been exaggerated slightly, and people here (as well as Santiago himself) need to stop bitching.

 

Roach has gone from humble and one of my favorite trainers to an ego maniac **** talker in the span of a year. I hope the next trainer he **** talks breaks his nose and emo glasses.

Roach has no reason to talk **** about Cotto who hadnt said a word about neither Pacquiao or Roach, his antics are disgusting and low class.
Santiago and Cotto are both sick of Pac and Roach and I beleive Roach has only added fuel to the fire.
Cotto is undefeated against south paws and beat them all by way of Knock out, He also has four common opponents he shares with Mayweather of which he stopped all four of them, in which Floyd went the distance with.

its over *******s~ Tonight Manny will find out what its like to taste real welter weight power, I wouldnt be surprised to see Freddy some how sabotage this fight, I am sure the moment Cotto hits Manny with a belt line shot, if Manny is struggling in any way in the fight, Roach will jump in the ring intentionally to get a DQ rather than to take the knock out loss.

The guy on the left in my avatar would never step to a former professional fighter on a crowded platform talking ****, knowing people are going to rescue me if it gets heated. It's got nothing to do with who wins the fight, it's about respect. It's Roach's JOB to hype the fight, and he's done that very well.

 

its Also Roachs job to keep this sport at a respectable level, he is not the fighter, if its the fighter talking **** then thats one thing but for the trainer to get involved like this, thats another.

Roach needs to shut his pie hole, the last time he was talking **** like this it back fired, when they fought Morales, Roach was talking mad ****, Morales struggles to make weight, Morales is all done, its an easy fight, and look what happend....
