    watched there 2 fights today.

What did you guys think of them?

also tell me abit about both guys as i know nothing about them.

I liked both fighters, i loved Lacias style it was smooth as hell and he worked the body well but he was lazy. Roman was a good boxer and worked hard he had good fundamentals and a brillaint inside fighter for his height also he looked abit like Arguello

I watched their series a little while ago but I can't remember all that much from it.

    I had it finishing 1-1-1.

Thought the first fight was legitimately a draw (though Roman has an argument for taking it), with Laciar putting up a better effort in the rematch and edging it on the cards for me before the cut stoppage. Roman clearly took the third fight against a spent Laciar.

The trilogy occurred at a time when Laciar was slowing down a bit and wasn't as sharp as he had been in earlier times. He still was at a very good level for the first two fights though, and I think Roman with his style would have troubled him no matter when the fights happened.

I am more familiar with Laciar than I am with Roman, and I really like Laciar as a fighter. He was one of those guys that didn't have any real flaws, and was solid in stature as well as skills. He could box when he needed to and could force the issue when the time was right too.

Roman was a real nifty little boxer with plenty of grit too. Not many flaws with him either. Mind you, I've only seen his fights with Laciar, Watanabe
and when he was near washed up against Sung Kil Moon.

I first watched Santos Laciar give Charlie Magri a boxing lesson, only for good ol' Sid Nathan screw our visitor of justice.

I saw The third Roman fight on the classic SportsWorld Extra. Santos clearly had seen better days by then, but Roman was just finishing his peak period.

The excellent little Mexican was one of boxing's hidden gems, and unlike Sanchez (who was taken from us, the same way), hardly gets any print.

Sugar Baby Rojas was given a lot of hype in the magazines, but Gilberto schooled him twice, in arguably his best performances.
