    I´m going to watch more of LAciar this week......I don´t think I watched more than 2 fights of him and even those I can´t remember well....

    So I would like to read your opinions about him, how good was he ?
    If he is just a good fighter or could be considered more than that....
    In which aspect he was special (if any) ? This type of thing.....

    Feel free to talk about Santos Laciar..

    Undentable all-round operator. Fought a who's who around fly and just above. I'd say he's one of the more underappreciated fighters around that weight. Bouts with Roman a must see.

    He should have gotten into the HOF before Too Sharp, Ricardo Lopez, Humerto Gonzalez and Michael Carbajal.

    I think he's even better than his record suggests: he should have got the decision against Magri to add to his other very good wins which include Hilario Zapata, Gilberto Roman, Betulio Gonzalez & Juan Herrera amongst others.

    Mini-Galindez is a very apt description of him, and yes, he was great.

    One of the best all rounders as Flea said.

    **** me what happened in the Magri fight? Only thing I remember is Lacier dropping him.
    Will need to get that.

    Beat Mathebula and Cardona as well. As I say, all styles, all shapes and sizes in what was still a brilliant era post-Canto at the lower weights.
