Pretty much how I see it. I just don't see Plant holding up to the body attack of Canelo and I don't see him having the power to hurt him either. Plant's only chance is to try and win the fight on the outside like Lara tried to do but Plant is nowhere near as good as Lara is. Late rounds stoppage for Canelo is my prediction. Hoping for a solid undercard and a Dirrel loss.

I think this might be pretty competitive; Plant moves well and has an educated left. Can ambush effectively and then move out of range of retaliation. But, he's shown a tendency to fade late and I don't know if he can land consistently or hard enough to dissuade an improved Canelo from turning up the heat in the second half.

So, Canelo by competitive UD is my pick. My vcash is on Plant, so I don't think he's as prohibitive an underdog as the odds make him out to be.

 

Has Abner Mares been sparring? His face looks like it has some fresh inflammation.

 

What’s with this telecast? Just some fake Drake type guy talking by a van.

 

Grateful if anyone can advise ETA for Canelo-Plant ring walks (hours from now).

Kind of intrigued by the Romero vs Rodriguez fight. I remember Rodriguez's loss on the Taylor vs Ramirez undercard. Curious to see if he can bounce back.

I'm interested in this one and in rey vargas' fight too. I'm a big fan of rey vargas, looking forward to watching how he does in the new weight (even if vs bad oposition), he has been out of the rings for way too much time.
