Canelo's best skill is his right hand parrying the jab. However his mentallity will break under pressure. It almost broke fully this fight.

For all of you saying Plant was ahead on the cards, I saw a completely different fight. Canelo believed all the way that he was going to stop Plant in the later rounds, and boxed accordingly (a bit arrogantly and sluggish), whereas Plant in my opinion took too much damage round after round, without giving anything back. As long as Canelo lands power shot after power shot, he not only win most rounds, but also follows a game plan that enforces a stoppage in one of the later rounds. You could easily see the fight heading that way from the first couple of rounds.

The current 168 guys with slick skills just don't seem to have the physique to be competitive. Neither power nor chin. Canelo is no top P4P fighter though. He is a slugger, and his power might come from ped use as well. Unfortunately, he'll continue to dominate 160-168 as long as there is no one around with similar power and chin. If he steps up to 175 though, against the wrong guy, he can be both outboxed and stopped. Easily.

the only reason caleb lasted so long is because he decided to philly nonstop without throwing a single hand.

I didnt enjoy the fight. Boring :(

One fighter running and hidding, and the other one bored of chasing not even worrying about being hit because he felt nothing when punched.

I was rooting for Plant, but I must admit its pretty cool seeing a guy literally facing the best possible opponent time and time again.

Beterbiev or Bivol next. Maybe Smith Jr.

Based off tonight's performance, Benavidez has a solid chance against Canelo. Bigger and with a better and stronger jab than Caleb.

Honestly you are talking too much sense. Let's buy into the PED train of Canelo here. Truth be told Beterbiev is a monster.

So, we all agree that the only fight that remains at 168lb is La Bandera Roja, right?

LHW would be difficult I think. I think those top guys might just be too big. His a hell of a fighter but only so much divisions a fighter can conquer.

Benavidez has no defense, he has no chance whatsoever, Charlo has more of a chance...

I mean, Benavidez might present a problem but why "based on this fight"? Plant's totally different.
