For a change, Weisfeld and Moretti were spot on tonight.

Plant gets credit for surviving to the 11th. Did it really look to you like he was actually trying to win the fight instead of just trying to survive?
Remind me of another Canelo fight where there was so much clinching.

I had Plant winning 4 rounds.

Canelo had a 2 point lead going into Round 11.

Plant faded towards the end and Canelo banged him out.

Much more competitve than many people imagined it would be.

It takes two people to clinch.

    We saw a fight tonight.

It wasn't one sided like Smith or Yildrim.

Props to Canelo. Awesome fighter but he has limitations too.

Josh Taylor telling it how it is. Not sure what some people were watching.

Well said. Breaking people down is pretty much what he has been doing lately. In general, he does not have one punch knockout power at this weight. Man, those shots do add up though. Almost everyone looks beat up when they are done fighting Alvarez.

Weisfeld was realistic in Usyk vs AJ too, turning a corner maybe?

I'm surprised PMJ was the most Plant favored. I assumed she was the designated 118-110 scorer for the evening.

He was trying to win for 8 or 9 rounds. You could see him switch to survival and ironically it's why he didn't survive.

I wonder if someone had shown him the cards in round 8, that he was getting credit and could still win/draw, if he would have gotten a second wind and done something more.

I'm just glad Canelo got the stoppage because the debate over this decision would have gone on forever.
