I said if they were the same size as each other not if one was much bigger like Chisora was with Usyk and Lopez and Linares are than Loma

And Loma would be undefeated if he had Clen's judges and you know it too, let alone if he was on his PEDs.

Even when the tank-like Clenelo fought that shell of Kovalev in that ''David vs Goliath'' encounter he would've only been giving away a maximum of 2lbs and 2'' in reach, Loma is routinely giving away way more weight and reach than that, almost everytime he fights.

Funny how all these LHWs are way too big for Clenelo but Loma is fighting guys routinely who are much heavier and longer than him than what Clenelo would be having to overcome at 175 and giving away 7-11lbs, likely at least 14-15lbs in his next fight and almost 6'' in reach, at 126-135 is way different to doing so at 168-175 and Clenelo only gave away about 2lbs and 2'' in reach to Kovalev.

Imagine what that shell of Kovalev would've done to him if he had 7-12lbs on him and almost 6'' in reach if he was whooping his ass whilst only having 2lbs and 2'' on him, let alone a prime Kovalev.

You seem to forget that styles make fights and it's hardly a coincidence that Clenelo has either lost, lost but his judges have bailed him out, or has struggled badly every single time he has faced any B or A level athletic talent who possesses genuine speed and slickness.

Make sure this registers: He does so every single time, not just once or when, as all fighters do, have an occasional off night like Usyk, Loma and Crawford have had too and with the exception of Floyd they're all light years better in terms of skills, athletic talent and speed than everyone he's fought. It's clearly a huge flaw in his game and one which would undoubtedly be exposed again by those fighters. Plant gave him fits with his slickness tonight for goodness sake.

Now do you get it?

Plant is a C level athletic talent and slickster at best and he has low output, no power, and he can't take or dish it out anywhere near as good as them. Usyk, Loma and Crawford are A or A + level talents in that regard and stylistically all wrong for him.

When Loma fought a smaller A + elite level talent and P4P top 4 in Rigo he didn't lose a single second of a single round, whereas, conversely, when Clenelo fought the much smaller Khan who is not remotely as talented or gifted as Rigo he got completely outboxed prior to his huge weight advantage and PED power bailing him out

Stop it! Loma is a fantastic fighter, but if he could compete at 168, he would be fighting there. He is that type of guy. He thrives on challenging himself, but knows his limitations.

After your absurd scoring of Connor Benns last fight (you are the only person on the planet that had Granados winning!!) and now this shambles, its safe to say you are an awful judge

Your boy got a beatdown tonight as was predicted

Fight looked almost exactly how I thought it would go.

Plant is a good, smart, skillfull fighter.

He's just not good, smart, or skillfull enough.

He's not good enough at any one thing to compensate for his weaknesses.

If he was a level smarter... he could have been in this. Or if he was a level more talented. Or if he had legit power.

But as is... he's simply not good enough.

He did aight though all things considered.
Just fought a great fighter. Plant can still improve. There's a lot, a lot, he can learn from this fight, if he has the IQ.

There were a few things that bugged me in this fight... and one of the main ones is how Plant just crumpled at the end. I will simply never understand how a fighter does not clinch when in trouble. Wrestle... clinch... make the ref break you up. But just covering up like that while looking away in that situation is something I don't understand when you're at the championship level.

The same fantasy land where Tank is elite and beats Taylor... The same fantasy land where Plant is a complete boxer with genuine power.

The same fantasy land where resumes mean nothing, level of opposition means nothing and with a good enough eye you can see which fighters will make it to the top even if they've never fought close to top level opposition.

    Shameless.

Not at all... All I see is some shameless scoring to justify a narrative you don't have the balls to walk back.

Plant did no better than BJS at all, despite a couple of physical advantages. Nothing special at this level at all.

People really love to hate canelo here lol. Yes he’s done some messed up things and had some luck maybe go his way but let’s give him credit for a conclusive win in which people shouldn’t try saying it was another controversial win in his record

I thought Plant fought well. Defended himself well, but got more and more passive after Canelo countered his jab with a left hook. Showed some spirit to win the 8th after Canelo had started to take over.

I had Canelo ahead something like 7-3, but most of the first 4-5 rds were close so I think all the judges' scores were reasonable.

Plant arguably won the first 3 rounds, after that it was all Canelo. Just glad he didnt get anhilated like people were saying

in most of those instances, time is warped. you dont realize the world is watching him unload the kitchen on you cause time and awareness are distorted.
about midway it became apparent to me that canelo was in control and would start to push the action even more. plant had started to concede certain punches defensively and canelo was accumulating damage every time he pressed the action. in team canelos mind, everything was falling in place. mine too, to be honest. to most it may look like plant could have avoided a lot of the damage if he had just kept moving. yes, he could have, and team canelo knew too. thats why the pressure, even if it gave plant an opportunity to score, was necessary. the constant movement, total focus and concentration, and and full power shots he was absorbing, quickly dropped plant below the level canelo can kick it up to. either his body or his concentration was going to give, cause he wasnt giving canelo anything to deplete him.

    I enjoyed the fight

Plant fought well, and gave Canelo fits on a few occasions

Canelo is tough as old boots to be fair, and just kept accumulating power shots on plant while taking some crisp shots himself

Canelo dgaf about being out boxed by anyone; he just sticks to the plan and listens to Reynoso

He's gonna lose in the 7th to 9th round one day but idk whose going to do it
