    Round 4

Álvarez lunges in with a jab-right-jab, making Jacobs move straight back, catching him with the last two punctuating shots. Álvarez is weaving around the Jacobs left jab, and whipping right hands into the side of the neck, then hooking the left hard into the ribs. Tony Weeks interrupts the action to warn both for roughhouse tactics - directed mainly at the instigator Álvarez, but Jacobs had responded with a rabbit punch of his own in that exchange. Álvarez landing with anti-aircraft lead rights shot up straight from the lead hip into the bottom of Jacobs' chin, jolting him into retreat. Álvarez scoring with jabs on the belt line very nicely. Jacobs is roping out tentative jabs, overthinking his aim, missing, Álvarez ducking and coming up firing, scoring his own jab to body and head. Jacobs tries a pair of rights on the body, clumsily falling against him on the ropes.

    10-9 Álvarez

    39-37 Álvarez
