    Why would an ardent Canelo hater pick him to win by KO? No matter how much I may be annoyed by the certain fighters. I never lose my objectivity.

    Actually I do, my original assessment of Canelo years ago on here was that he was a featherfist, but... I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and figured he wouldn't gassed out badly like he used to do, and would be sharper in the closing rounds. But nope.... he **** the bed again and looked like hell, maybe he didn't want to risk getting busted for Clen this time around eh?

    I had it a draw, i spent the first half of the fight telling my girlfriend that Jacobs is usually way more busy and he’s gotta turn it up, and he definitely did in the second half, but Canelo did an amazing job of prohibiting that during the first half so I honestly can’t be mad about the result. They both did great and I wouldn’t even have beef with a rematch. But tbh I still have GGG 2-0 against Canelo, or 1-0-1, I’m undecided, so I’d far prefer GGG got back in there.

    Pretty good fight. I scored it 115-113 Canelo, i think he's been very lucky more than once in the past but i think he just edged this one, Jacobs just got going too late. I have to say i don't know about the US commentary but the UK commentators were so biased towards Canelo it was ridiculous.

    The only one with clouded judgement is you. It will be a ggg or Jacobs rematch. He won’t fight andrade.

    German commentators aswell. It was a joke. Jacobs landed 2-3 good shots, Canelo landed a solid counter and they said "Great shot from Canelo"....they had it 10-2 Canelo btw. LOL!!!

    Agreed! Here's hoping there is a rematch because both were very evenly matched and the fight was inconclusive.

    But Daniel Jacobs got the slightly better of the match up after the 6th round. Not by much though. If he can continue from where he left off post 6th round in a potential rematch from the first round, he may be able to pull off the win.

    However, a draw is the best result because it provides a greater incentive for a well justified rematch.

    Canelo beat Jacobs in every department, Landed more body punches, Jabs, Power punches and overall total connects. Was also the aggressor for most of the fight, the better defensive fighter and overall better ring general.

    It was a very easy fight to score.

    Clearly one that separates the objective fans from the haters.
