Santos Saúl Álvarez Barragán vs. Daniel Jacobs & John Ryder vs. Bilal Akkawy RBR

Jacobs is possibly my favourite fighter. A class act in the way he conducts himself, a stylish and skilful boxer.

Canelo is symbolic of many of the ills that plague boxing. The favoured money fighter, tested positive, fawned over by the supposedly impartial organising bodies etc.

All of which I say just to make clear where my sympathies lie so when I say that Canelo clearly won the fight, that's exactly what I saw. The 116-112 card was too great, but 115-113 was fair.

 

I'll ask again, in what department did Jacobs outdo Canelo?

 

I never once claimed either guy 'outdid' the other. So your question is meaningless, irrelevant and a straw-man from the get-go.

 

I haven't seen the fight yet. But I've seen cards range from 115-113 to Jacobs to 116-111 to Canelo. It must've been a close fight, so I don't mind if you think Canelo won. But to say that it was such a clear win that it separates Haters and Objectional fans is deluded. Hence ass kissers

And some Canelo fanboy are so biased. In Golovkin fights, where Canelo was static for 2 minute and fight 1 minute per round, they were saying Canelo took that round, GGG scored only a jabs, Canelo landed 1 power shot, not even clean, but it`s enough. Yet now vs Jacobs, Canelo fans: oh Jacobs is too passive, you can win a round with 1 power shot, Canelo also scored 4 answered jabs, that is his round.
This is so pathetic. Turned their view, just to justified their fanboy.

I will give my scorecards later, when i rewatched the fight, without commentators and some shot or even rounds on slow motion so i can score the fight correctly, not by my bias, as some did in this thread.
BTW, looking Canelo fanboys, they give every close round to Canelo. And they did that in every fight Canelo have.
