I don't live in the US but I can guarantee one thing and that's that Sky Sports do a worse job. I'd rather these broadcasts were quiet, didn't create unnecessary hype and just gave us the basics. I can't bare Adam Smith. But he's not the worst. Yeah, that's the bad thing about UK boxing commentary, Adam isn't even the worst commentator. If anything, he's the best one.

I'd jump off a cliff to avoid John Rawling and Ronald Macintosh. Those two don't have a clue what they are on about, and they bore the living daylights out of me. That's the only thing I hate about them. They are TOO quiet, and they fill in with the fighter's stories and build-up. Nobody wants to know stories and build-up. We want to know about the matchup, the technique, breakdowns of the fight..

You know what? It's time boxing took a leaf out of other sports' books. Let's have a fighter as the main commentator. I've been watching the world championship snooker over the past week for example..having former snooker players doing the commentary is far better than the hype train build-up nonsense from Adam Smith and the 'I don't have a clue what to say' commentary from John Rawling and Ronald Macintosh.

Let's have Tony Bellew on main commentary shall we? Let's unleash his ACTUAL thoughts rather than the sky influenced rubbish coming out his mouth. Let them off the leash for goodness sakes Sky.

No rematch please, this was boring enough. GGG did way more damage to Danny (a Danny that didn't have to get up in the morning and drain himself to minimize the fine he was about to get;) )

Adam Smith of Sky said Jacobs regained the same belt from Dervychenko he won from Jarrod Fletcher.

I agree, but in my opinion only HBO had good productions value. Whenever I watch Showtime or ESPN fights (there are exceptions here and there) it feels like I'm watching some amateur fights in some strange venue. HBO boxing after dark often felt like ppv productions compared to those.

A masterpiece? You don't watch much boxing if you think that was special

Dchenko did almost as good as that & without all Canelos experience!

...but it is still PPV. A third of the price for a month rather than a night, but still is PPV.

    $20/month now.

first off, i love the guy cause he came back from Cancer to win a world title.

but this Performance……...give me a break. posing and Fighting in spurts vs boxings biggest cash cow???

he was Fighting more like trying not to lose rather than to win. and he was so much bigger. and canelo was willing to stand and trade with him!!! yet he let the far smaller canelo chip away at him, posing like he was Money mayweather only to find out that he isnt floyd.
that shoulder roll game wasnt working. he was getting hit way too much. but instead of putting his foot down and adapting, he switched to Sparring Partner/ b-side mode and gave it all away.

this is exactly the type of Performance that has the old-timers laughing at todays fighters saying that they are soft^!!!!!

I never liked jacobs anyway. I've always thought that he is not a top fighter, not even close. I was not upset, because I expected nothing from him.

He's on the way down and likely has been for the past few fights. Struggling to make the weight and it's showing. He likely can't sustain the workrate he managed against GGG.

I don't think it's his heart which is well proven. Father Time is a tough opponent, he's 32 and past prime.

Dazn is ending the PPV era , but i reckon its also ending the days of a stacked undercard. The quality undercards don't seem to be there anymore.

He should of pushed more no doubt, he was winning exchanges like he did against GGG, but he doesnt take the initiative enough. Okay he could get countered more, but he could also took closer rounds and won them more dominantly if he pushed canelo back, hes supposed to the bigger stronger man, its not how you beat canelo.

The last 2 rounds lost him the fight!!!!!!!!!!!! or at the very worst a draw.
