This is going to look exactly like Clenelo vs. Trout.. I get that Jacobs is much better than Trout (and bigger), but Clenelo is much better and bigger than he was in the Trout fight as well. Clenelo will surprise people by pushing Jacobs back at times. At other times he'll be countering off the back foot and off the ropes. Mostly he'll just post up in the center of the ring and hold court with flashy punches. If Jacobs isn't going for the kill-shot every round then he doesnt deserve to win. KO or bust obviously is the only way he walks out a winner.
Good fight this, looking forward to it. Fair does to Canelo for taking on probably the best contender he hasn't fought in his first defence. Would rather have seen the GGG trilogy, but if not this is a more than acceptable substitute.

therein lies the problem. Very rarely in a fight amongst top fighters do they try to take the other out. They take less risks and try to win a decision. By taking more chances DJ will leave himself more open to getting caught by a nelo counter

How Canelo will be against the same Jacobs since Jacobs skipped the second day weigh against GGG and basically broke IBF rules? Do you think he will be given the same opportunity against Canelo without very heavy penalties? Nahhh Jacobs will probably cash out creating room for rematch.
Jacobs is a more dynamic puncher than GGG with maybe as much power. Jacobs is very dangerous and should not be taken lightly. If Canelo can beat him convincingly or straight up kO Jacobs that would be a big statement.
