Look who's come crawling back, tail firmly tucked betwixt legs, suddenly no longer too big for his pantalónes nor rubber-matchin'. :sisi1

At stake will be the WBC, IBF, WBO, and WBA super middleweight titles - fourth, first, second and fourth defenses of Álvarez respectively.

The fight was happening regardless if Canelo lost or not

We consistently have owed "time" for this.

The length of time that Canelo waited and shamelessly ducked GGG before he faced him the first time and got a gift draw after losing.

Then there was the time Canelo waited after being busted for clenbuterol.

Then there was the time after that where Canelo waited some more for GGG to turn forty years old.

Hard to see a path forward for GGG so I see this as his retirement cash out.

That may have been "the plan", as in what got "said" by Fast Car or whomever (I don't really so much follow the drama or politics side of boxing, the negotiations and build-up stuff - I know it entertains many but has always just bored me) ...but had Canelo defeated Bivol part of me feels like his next voluntary defense might've been a Shane Mosley Jr. or something. He is now in a position of mutual need with GGG, whereas before he didn't even remotely need the rubber match to carry his momentum and belts into a guaranteed payday versus a much lower-risk for same-reward (or near enough) proposition. It wasn't like Golovkin was a mandatory or anything; he isn't even ranked at SMW and has fought above the 160lb limit only a handful of times in his entire pro career - last against Rolls in 2019 and even that was a 164 catchweight.

GGG stops Clen as soon as his boyfriend Eddie Reynoso sees Clen's golf arm In bits. (Also fisting arm)

GGG raises his hand as the Undisputed 168 King and reveals to us all that he Is In fact the chosen one and was sent to bring balance to the world of boxing.

GGG gives up the worthless, desert like division 168 titles and then dominates 160 as the Chosen One and becomes undisputed.

Clen takes up OnlyFans with boogie bear Reynoso.

As long as Adalaide Byrd can be kept at least a 10 mile radius away from the venue then GGG has a legit shot!

Started out a mild to moderate fan of G, but over the years grew tired of his arrogance, can crushing and selling his soul for money. And as for Canelo, he's the closest thing boxing has to the devil himself. So as far as I'm concerned, they can both **** themselves.

I thought the plan from the jump was to fight Bivol and then fight Golovkin. Actually, I'm surprised the fight is moving forward considering Canelo got whooped so comprehensively.

Alvarez by decision in another competitive fight, which he'll win this time legit, probably 8-4ish.

But Canelo don't want that Benavidez smoke so he's instead fighting a middle-aged man who he knows is in decline.
