Im talking about who he's fought in the 168 pound division, those guys you mention were in the lighter weight classes, great wins, no doubt but Benevidez would by far be the best fighter he's fought since becoming undisputed at 168.

IF, & its a humongous IF. Ginger Nutt could fight & legitimately beat Benavidez, Bivol & Beterbiev, anywhere but Vegas, where The King Ginger is classed as unbeatable ROFL
Then & only then would I give him the respect he deserved. To me its obvious he is afraid of all 3 & does not possess the cojones to attempt the impossible

The sight of you chubby butted, stumpy legged freaks, twerking for the King is enough to turn the milk sour & the beer flat

There's not much separating Benavidez to Saunders, Smith, and even Plant as far as resumes.

It's not like Benavidez beat anyone great to become champion.

Benavidez is a better and far more dangerous fighter than Saunders, Smith and Caleb Plant. Benavidez is the biggest challenge at 168 for Canelo(I'm sure we'd agree on that) and if he chooses not to fight him in his next fight and chooses unworthy challengers like Mall Charlo or a Berlanga for instance, that's not going to be a good look for Canelo. Because why would a Berlanga or Mall charlo be a more deserving challenger, if Canelo chose either guy for his September fight?

The only reason Benavidez is the biggest challenge now is because Canelo cleaned out the division.

Canelo has best 3 SMW champions, has had 8 Championship fights at SMW, has fulfilled his mandatory 2 times at SMW.

I get that the rules of the WBC state that he is required to fight his mandatory, but his mandatory will be but a small footnote in Canelo's long decorated career.

Not fighting Benavidez does nothing to Canelo's already cemented legacy since Benavidez hasn't beat anyone and is no one in a historical context.

Fighting Benevidez and beating him puts him back as P4P number 1, without Benevidez he'll never be regarded as the best fighter in the world in many people's eyes. He's his Mandatory, and besides Canelo is getting older while Benevidez is getting better, the longer Canelo stalls him out the better DB chances get of beating him. It's the biggest fight in boxing right now and the public should be demanding it, not be against it.

If you've ever watched Bivol and Benavidez fight, you would know they are nothing alike.
