One of the worst "historically significant" fights I've ever seen. Told you @shadow111

When the majority disagrees with you a person who doesn't reassess his own position is the true fool.

Canelo has had the same style since 2020:

    Stalking
    Low output
    Loads up power punches
    Very predictable and basic pattern

Either he is hitting like a demon (doubtful as power doesn't travel up proportionately) or he is selecting opponents with very little resistance.

Charlo looked dead eyed and clueless in there. No backup plan and no smarts in there at all

    Nah

Charlo is too basic and has no mental resolve..

    Easy work for Crawford.

Canelo did look good, his stamina didn't let him down at all. However, he had someone not putting any pressure on him so stylistically it suited Canelo. If that was Benavidez, Canelo might have beaten him, but it definitely would have been a much harder fight for him. Benavidez at least would come in to win and put some pressure on Canelo. Make it happen next!

Pound for pound, Crawford is clearly better but spot on, he's not beating Canelo.

Yeah, most likely. However, it would be a way more competitive fight than what we saw tonight.

Jermell managed to hear the final bell.

I'm pretty sure Bud wouldn't make it that far.

Good big man, good little man, etc.

When you call someone out for 10 years and get your opportunity what else can we attribute not going for it and laying it on the line than fear of getting hurt?

I don't blame him. It's smart and more boxers should heed his example. He was still afraid though.

In fairness to him I thought he showed a strong guard and a great chin. Good movement considering the added weight.

Fights like these are the reason why Showtime is ditching this sport.

Benavidez and Morrell would both beat the current Canelo in my opinion.
