Great resilience shown by Ryder, a fine effort from a heavily outgunned fighter. I tip my hat.

Canelo is a tank at 168 even if he's on the down. He's invariably the one coming forward, bossing, stalking and looking to knock people out. He's a really big puncher at the weight and has a concrete chin as well which is a helluva combination when you add his skill to the mix.

The only reason why Ryder landed some punches was because Canelo clearly wanted the KO and was trying to get Ryder to open up.

I dont think Canelo faded, but I also dont think Ryder did anything different.

I saw Canelo trying to get Ryder to open up to counter him.. credit to Ryder, he fought very compact, has a lotnof heart, and is very durable.

 

Only Bivol’s integrity can save us & Canelo from himself - if he takes the “PeyDey”

Canelo was 100% offense against Smith. That's a poor excuse. Ryder had poor defense as well, Canelo didn't need to make him open up when he was landed left hooks to the body and straight rights from the opening bell.
