Against two very large LHW's (one arguably p4p #1 at the time they fought and the other a well versed amateur champion).

Kovalev vs. Ward 1 was as tight as a fight can get, the second fight Ward figured him out but again, it was Ward (p4p elite)
Kovalev vs. Alvarez 1, Kovalev was comfortably ahead when he got caught, the second fight he won comfortably.
Beat up in either fight is a stretch as other than the knockout rounds, he didn't take an abundance of damage.

Also it should be considered that Canelo has been arguably outboxed by 4 opponents and against a fifth opponent (a large MW), he was made to look like the smaller weaker fighter late in that fight. Against Kovalev, he'd be going against a much larger guy (far larger than the MW that dwarfed him) with a very good skill set. There's no way he wins.

I want to see Canelo vs Wilder. That would be a good test of Canelo’s chin.

Only fighter to outbox Canelo was Floyd Mayweather. SOrry, I deal with facts only.

Only according to 2 judges out of three, lol
    That's a fact.
So, Canelo in early 20s boxed equally with Mayweather according to "facts"

There's a reason why boxing uses not one, not two, but three judges.

What is the reason? So DLH has to pay more for Canelo to win?

Jacobs is as big as Kovalev, maybe even bigger, but Canelo handled him with relative ease. This is a competitive fight if it ever gets made.

Praising what? A boxer for cheating with PEDs, weight draining or hydration clauses?

Every Canelo fight since Mayweather there is an asterix * next to it.

Don't worry, they will not drain Kovalev. GBP remembers a video where Duva claims Kovalev couldn't make 168 without cutting off an arm. Thus a contract has been sent with the first Amputation Clause. Kovalev will have one arm surgically removed before the fight, it will be kept in a fridge. Once the fight has been completed, they will attempt to reattach it, success not guaranteed. If arm goes gangrene, he goes out with his biggest payday, or attempts to fight lower opposition with one arm. Real reason the fight is being delayed is that they are not sure which arm should come off for the fight. GBP sportingly leaves the choice to Kovalev's team.
