True but Canelo would most likely throw in a catch weight of 170 with a rehydration clause too to balance out his disadvantages.
All Big Red wants is to stack the deck to see the final bell and let the judges work some magic

    Weak.

The controversy of a bad scorecard for Canelo has only been in 3 fights and it has only been a single judge in each of those three fights.

    Lol

    Drink up that haterade bro.

Canelo whooped GGG fair and square deal with it.

He outboxed Jacobs, and before you say they dehydrated Jacobs I'll bring up two undeniable facts.

Fact 1. The IBF has a rule that limits a fighter from hydrating more than 10 lbs on the day of the fight, a rule which Jacobs was subject too in his fight with Derevyanchenko just seven months before.

Fact 2. Daniel Jacobs decided to not follow the hydration clause and opted to pay the fine instead. So what does that mean? Jacobs was as healthy as he could have been and Canelo still outboxed him. Eat it and weep bro.

Against Cotto, Canelo conceded to Cotto's demands of having the fight at a catchweight of 155. More facts proving your post is garbage.

You are deluded. I genuinely hope Canelo has enough arrogance and steps up to fight Beterbiev and has his brains scrambled.

His arrogance is going to cause him to get his brain scrambled against Kovalev.

Fact 1: the IBF dropped that requirement prior to the Jacobs/Canelo fight

Fact 2: No he was not as healthy as he could have been because he had to pay a fortune for every lb he rehydrated. Against Golovkin he basically completely ignored every stipulation and GGG was the guy that was dried out.
Fact 3: 155 lb is Caneloweight.

After the Yarde fight I was sure Canelo would stop Kovalev. But now I'm having second thoughts.

    The main factors are:
    1) This short pause between the fights might be a good thing for Kovalev. He was in good (relatively for him at his age) shape against Yarde and should be even better in the upcoming fight. Now he's spending time in a remote Altay mountain resort with his family, and when Sergey gets back to the US, the training camp will start. No time for distractions and doing stupid things out of boredom.

    2) Kovalev intentionally used (to prevent hand injures) bigger and denser gloves against Yarde and will box in his "battle mode" softer Reyes gloves vs. Canelo. (Sergey explained this point in his autobiographic book — he did the same fighting Chilemba before Ward).

I provided facts you provided an emotionally fueled response filled with contempt for a human who is probably a better person than you.

Fact 1. Jacob's had no issues with the IBF rule when he defeated SD. When he fought Canelo he decided to pay the fine to ensure a weight advantage.

Fact 2. You're using an excuse not even Jacob's used. Pretty pathetic.

Fact 3. Cotto demanded the 155 catchweight.

Fact 4. Bcs8 doesn't know what facts are.

I'll let Jacobs himself answer for me, as from Bad Left Hook:

"“I mean it’s very frustrating because I’ve heard the interview where Canelo said that it wasn’t up to him and he had no say-so whether the IBF rules was implemented. But as we know, the IBF doesn’t put those rules on us [for unification fights]. They say that it’s up to the fighters’ discretion. You know I ain’t want that! Right? You know I just wanted to fight for the belts, get my rest, wake up and fight a great fight.

“Not that I need any advantages, because I don’t need any advantages for Canelo Alvarez. I simply need to be my best fighter inside that ring come that night. But it was Golden Boy and their team that put that stipulation in there. And this just sucks because this is not the history of boxing, this is not true champion behavior. If you’re a champion in whatever weight class you are in you will fight those guys with no — I mean he’s done it with Cotto and Khan and all these other guys he’s put weight stipulations on.

“So, I mean, when you think about ‘true champion,’ I don’t know if we can really throw that out there because even though he’s a stellar guy, even though he’s an amazing champion, but you gotta be true to the sport, and you can’t look for advantages in any way that you can get ‘em. You know what I mean? Because if you’re gonna beat a guy, beat me fair and square.”"

    :deal:

    I dont fail drugs tests

I dont take performance enhancing drugs and then go punch other people (that I have also a weight penalty on)

Isal, I honestly hope you are getting paid well to fellate Canelo in the manner you other. Otherwise you are just letting yourself get pimped out with zero recompense.
