    This fight was EVEN on my scorecard after 8 so BJS had Canelo scratching his head IMO

    BJS's body language changed completely after he got tagged in the 8th.

    Personally, I think he was probably going to fade anyway, but I won't fault him or his corner for calling it a night after his eye closed. Some fighters have gone on to win with one working eye, but it's a severe enough injury that a retirement is warranted.

    Saunders wasnt at his best. his legs were good but they are usually great

    Saunders didnt do bad but got outclassed. His powerful body shots beat Billy Joes pitty patting all day long. Billy Joe won one round clearly, maybe 2 other rounds were kinda close, but Canelo was beating him down and the stoppage was inevitable.
