Saunders was doing...alright. That was never gonna be good enough to bank rounds here. Kovalev did much better.

 

I'm not going to speculate and will wait for the report on his condition. You'd expect something is broken. Canelo thought he broke his cheek.

I thought the fight was super close but obviously Saunders was never getting a decision.

Canelo's no fool, he was looking for that uppercut all night and sure enough it ended proceedings. After the final round i don't think Saunders was making it to the finish line.

Saunders looked so big in there, Canelo's frame looked so much smaller.

Canelo has some serious power and is more than happy to build his game plan around it.

I saw it as Canelo up anywhere from 1 -3 rounds. Canelo was clearly winning this fight because he was landing the hard shots. Saunders having some success in keeping Canelo off of him was good but not enough. There were some close rounds for sure.

 

That orbital is claiming a lot of victims lately.

Once it landed flush he smashed the fight out of BJS.

 

I had BJS clearly ahead going into 8th and he was countering beautifully. In the 8th round canelo landed a great uppercut that hurt BJS, eye was clearly damaged and I wouldn't be surprised if BJS has broken orbital bone.

Judges are disgrace and they would of robbed BJS just liked they did with GGG twice and Lara.

no he wasn't and if you think he was then you need to start watching more fights lol. at best you could get him to a draw thru 8.

BJS had a reality check. Gypsy magic proven useless against a superior focused fighter who gave every concession to BJS. No excuses he quit and lost his heart.
