Vitali had surface level injuries that stitches sorted out after the fight.

Billy had internal injuries of the skull. His orbital floor if shattered will need reconstruction through surgery. He may even had internal bleeding which is worse than bleeding outward.
Vitali wasn't screaming at anybody to allow him continue when he had internal injury of the shoulder.

No idea, actually. Would just guess that it was his largest purse by some distance.

What did you expect? We all knew going in anything close was going to Canelo.

Rds like round 8 should really be scored 10-8. I know that rarely if ever happens, but that's how it should be imo.

A knock down shouldn't be an automatic 10-8, just a point less for the fighter being floored and rds that are won by a wide margin should be 10-8 even if there's no KD.

All plaudits go to Canelo, he broke BJS.
We know Canelo is never again going to lose a points decision etc etc, however this win was conclusive, no controversy, no suspect judging/officiating and i for one am happy about that.

At this point, Canelo is #1 P4P, with Inoue being a distant second.

There were some close rounds for sure. Canelo's shots were clearly harder but Saunders had his moments.

Those are shockingly fair scorecards. I had the fight 4-3 Canelo going into the 8th and I was being very good to Saunders.

I respect Tibbs for trying to protect BJS pride but we all saw what happened. "Debbie Harry" BJS couldn't dig deep when the seas became rough. No shame in that, he's not a superman he thought he was.
