Had he landed as much as he did on that shadow, it wouldn't have been stopped.
Sit down Takayama. We appreciate you.
I think I'm losing my mind
Takayama was shipping some clean shots but he was throwing back and had proven he was capable of recovering and returning fire.
Just a god-awful stoppage from a god-awful referee.
I'll defer to the referee on the stoppage. Takayama was taking a lot of big shots and starting to show the effects, imo. I thought it was early, but he's the one in the ring with them, so....
All the samurai rise your swords for Takayama! WOW!
In my 50 plus years this is hands down the worst stoppage I’ve lived to witness
In hindsight, Takayama keep retiring and keep coming back and being a 5 time champion....they probably should have let him fight. Boxing is all he knows.
He would have to be carried out on a stretcher bro. Too much heart.
Another embarrassing night for boxing yet again. Thanks DAZN and Eddie Hearn for striking yet again. Unbelievable, best fight of the night.
There isn't even a hint of a justification for that. Soto wasn't landing more than a consecutive punch or two in any of his flurries, and NOTHING unanswered. Takayama was the ring general and pushing forward that whole round. Seriously what the hell excuse could Laurence Cole have for this?
This card better improve fast.
Bull**** judging and then bull**** reffing, somebody mentioned this boxing card wasn’t popular online or something - I’m not in the least bit surprised.
The Conway score and now this stoppage. Welcome to Texas
Froch saying it was a compassionate stoppage. Guilt of Groves I maybe
