I go with Hatton......don't see that many people on Mamby's record that he beat that are better than Hatton.

    Hatton's pressure just too much.

Mamby is way too crafty for Hatton ,in his prime Mamby was a solid pro with very good skills he would know too much for Ricky, imo.

Didn't Mamby also have an ATG chin on top of being a crafty *******?

    Nasty combination.

Mamby was an experienced vet from the old era type.He pull out an unanimous decison over a game, but outmatched Hatton.

Mamby via decision. He was very crafty and strong on the inside himself and more importantly Ricky can't hurt him or possibly hope to match Mamby's jab.

Would be very competitive but Mamby has a clear edge IMO.

Hattens fans would be very disappointed at the outcome.
He’d be walking into this excellent ring mechanics leather all night.
Saul became champ after his prime too don’t forget.

He did indeed and looked faded during his reign (Haley I he was abysmal IMO) but by all accounts he deserved the win over Saensak so his title run should've started earlier and that's another solid scalp.

Prime Mamby was an overlooked Duran win
According to Freddie Brown Roberto had him tearing his head out not training. While prime Mamby was going at it in the gym like Marciano
Did him no good. He caught a hellva beating.

I don't think it's crazy to pick Hatton here...but I'm siding with Mamby also.

Saoul's lack of power gives Hatton a little breathing space here, which might give him enough of a sniff to get some momentum and grind out an ugly win...But as has been said I think the quick jab of Mamby is going to be telling here..He has long arms and a bit of height for the weight..plus is no shrinking violet in the trenches.

I agree Ricky is a reasonable pick but Mamby could produce a good whack every now and then. Probably at his best around the Kim fight, watch the highlights on YouTube. Beautiful jab and a crushing right hand to end it. And Kim was no slouch (though I'd taken Hatton to punish him)

Anyone care to pick Ricky Vs Saensak?

    Actually wouldn't be surprised!

Ricky has the far quicker feet and would probably latch onto Saensak for the early rounds and smother him but Muangsurin will catch him down the stretch and beat him to a stoppage I imagine. Ricky would be disconsolate at seeing his man stand up between rounds. He'd know he couldn't break him.

He'd need to stink the place out like Urango fight to win handily.

Great fight, I'll take the harder puncher here though.
