both are known for total punching ko power does either have it in them to get to liston? look at what shavers did to norton and satterfield had a bomb of a right. although neither had granite chins is it possible that either one of them could turn the tide against the formidible liston?

Sonny had great power but he had a nice skillset to go with it. He used that bigjab as a setup for the hook but also as a powerpunch. His righthand was a little more of club than say a Joe Louis right but it still did damage. His lefthook was just nasty.

Shavers wasnt the boxer that Liston was. I think Sonny was able to take a good shot and he would be able to overpower Shavers physically forcing him back on his heels.

Take away Ernie Shavers forward momentum and his confidence as well.

Liston TKO anywhere from 2 to 5 rounds.
