You are right as I struggled to get a taxi that night. It was Manfredo / Calzaghe where the doors opened about 2 and the main event wasn't until after 10. I even had time to get out for a few in Cardiff after it was over.

Glad to hear that, quality fighter is Alex Arthur when he's on his game, not many better in Britain when he's in top form IMO.

Just wondering sky start their new season of saturday night boxing on setember 11th yeah? with 3 live saturday night shows one after the other. On their website, their schedule ends with John Murray's defence of his european title on september 25th, so if they are continuing to follow the trend they have set of showing live boxing every saturday night then well we all know there is only 1 fight that matters on october 2nd involving a brit, hopefully anyway.

Anyone else think (in other words, hoping) that Sky's switch to Saturday nights is so they can accomodate more fights from the States as well?:think

I actually worry that it means we will see less US boxing to be honest. Think about it the domestic boxing gets repeated at 2am the next day and throughout saturday (now sunday) and so do the US shows which are live at 2am. So there would be a clash. Plus you would need to have the team at the studio for 8 hours plus.

    hope i am wrong.

If that does turn out to be true, it's a year too late for Froch.
