Looking forward to the SKY show Saturday night the two fighters getting the exposure Joshua top the bill & hopefully Quigg can get the job done.Quigg fitness wise off the chart lives the life doesn't need to cut weight like the way he picks body shots.Quigg fight should & will get the most attention good luck to him. The fight I am interested in is Selby v Walsh no getting away from it I am a big Selby fan.For a 126lb fighter he is very big at the weight & can go either way fight from range & also willing to trade. He was getting a bit of a build up against Simion & though he won comfortably on points got questioned harshly IMO. Simion for me was a jump up in class unbeaten. Selby he is a fighter that isn't talked about much on this forum to me he is a fighter that is underrated think he can win a world title.
Was so much hype then he had the tricky fight against the unbeaten lad and it all we t quiet, good lad could do really well is really class and should win again this weekend.
i dont think Selby is underrated at all, most people know he is an excellent prospect but he is miles from being a world champion just yet... Quigg on the other hand is already at world level and i think he is 24??i have high high hopes for Quigg i think he could be one of the best ever English boxers!
I like Quigg but to be fair who has he fought bar Munroe on the slide, this is the problem with young English fighters. They get hyped up to the point where they feel they are superman, when they fight a legitimate world class fighter, all unravels. Salinas is no walk in the park which is what some people feel. I really hope Quigg wins, but he will have to go through hell to do so.
only floyd mayweather fights world class fighter after fighter,Quigg is 24 and learning but you can see already he has every shot going and chooses each 1 wisely,he is constantly moving up in class whilst showing this.
Munroe wasn't really on the slide he only lost to nishioka fair play he was fairly inactive but he was hardly on a losing streak. The thing I'm not a fan of on Saturday is all the one sided fights, all the known fighters are massive odds on favourites
Yeah. Honestly, while both are undefeated and neither is terrible, I don't see much of a way for Salinas or Walsh to walk out with the W. The Cuban has some cute moves against bush league opposition but isn't honestly on Quigg's level. Walsh is a talented kid, and ought to have gotten the nod over Clarke as cherry on top of his resume to date, but is the lesser twin and not destined for the success Liam should reach. It will be a rough shock for him stepping up to Selby. Now, Lopez, if he doesn't get knocked out himself (which is most likely) can definitely crack and Mitchell's own two losses are by KO...albeit to much higher class operators... :think I think Lopez is the likeliest upset, and not all that likely.
i dont see how you come to the conclusion that selby won that fight comfortably, it was 7-5 at best, alot of people scored it a draw
i thought he nicked it by one round would never say it was comfortable though mate, not being argumentative just my opinion. think he would of learnt valuable lessons thought and should beat ryan walsh
I'm still not sold on Selby. He looks a talent right enough, but think people (especially in the lead up to his last fight) were going overboard a bit with him.
