Whether he's done or not, is gonna be purely down to how he deals with it mentally. And we'll all know by the end of the year. He's old enough that no trainer can change that much about him, he kind of is what he is at this point. And that's gonna be the toughest part to deal with. The next time he goes into the ring it will be apparent very quickly whether he's done for good or not. There's no grey area here, and that means the pressure on him in the rematch will be immense ( providing it happens ). If he wins, he's back on track, and if anything those big fights are MORE likely to happen as Ruiz Jr has demolished any fears opponents might have had. If he loses? I don't see how he can possibly come back from that. Mentally he will be at David Price or Fraudley level if that happens.
